Electric Cigarette Disposables | Are they Any Good?
So by now many of you have heard of electric cigarettes and you also know that they can have many advantages over traditional tobacco cigarettes, like not causing cancer to name one thing. However, there are so many different brands and styles of e-cigarettes that it can get very confusing. One thing I would like to discuss here is disposables. These are e-cigarettes that you use until the e-liquid (that’s the stuff that you inhale) runs out and then you throw them away in the trash. The battery is not rechargeable and the device is not refillable.
I have a few criticisms about these disposables. First of all the taste is usually horrible. For some reason, the taste is diluted and sometimes tastes nothing like what you would expect. I had a French Vanilla that tasted like coffee and tobacco that tastes like passion fruit. The next problem is that for some reason the things just don’t seem to work right. I have confirmed with a few different models of disposables that they tend to overheat and send a vapor down my throat that is so hot it feels like its burning it. When they are not burning my throat they are irritating it with what seems to be a very low quality e-liquid. My guess is that the companies who sell disposables do not use the same juice as they use in their non-disposable units. I would also guess that its some liquid made in china.
My experience has been that none of these things are any good. If you're trying to use e-cigs to help you quit smoking I would suggest buying a decent starter kit like Vapurize's. You will get a 100% USA made juice that you can feel safe inhaling and in addition, you will taste great and not burn your throat. The disposable e-cig is usually large and made of cheap plastic whereas the Vapurize vapor cigarette is made of high-grade metals and durable plastics. In addition the Vapurize cig is the size of a standard cigarette, not a cigar. Non-disposables like Vapurize are also less expensive in the long run and a better experience overall.
